Howto change a hard drive

This short guide tells you how to change a hard drive of a Medion MD9703 notebook.

To open the case of the notebook turn it to back and remove all 5 screws as the picture shows you.BR attachment:change_storage_device01.jpg

With a little pressure you can open the front cover.BR attachment:change_storage_device02.jpg

Lift up the cover.BR attachment:change_storage_device03.jpg

Again you have to remove a screw. Now you can take the hard drive out of the notebook and carefully pull out the cable.BR attachment:change_storage_device_harddrive01.jpg

The hard drive is inserted in a metal case. Get rid of all 4 srews and free it.BR attachment:change_storage_device_harddrive02.jpg
